International Roaming


Overview

International roaming is disabled by default on mobile SIMs and must be enabled before travelling overseas.

Once roaming is enabled, eligible destinations may allow you to use your standard mobile plan allowances while overseas, subject to the roaming destination, plan type, and fair use conditions.


Australia Roaming

Australia roaming is included free on selected business mobile plans, including:

This is designed for New Zealand-based business customers who travel to Australia for business.

There is no set limit on the number of business trips or total business travel days to Australia, however this does not apply if the user has relocated to Australia.

Australia Roaming Exclusions

The following are not included:

  • Calls or texts to premium rate numbers

  • Calls or texts to satellite numbers

  • International calls or texts outside normal local, New Zealand, or Australia usage

Fair use policy and standard mobile terms apply.


Roaming Outside Australia and those on 75GB or lower Endless Data Plans

Roaming is available in selected international destinations.

For eligible destinations, daily roaming may allow you to use your standard plan data and voice allowances while overseas.

The standard daily roaming charge is:

$6.95 + GST per day 

Roaming availability and destination eligibility should be checked before travel.


Important Things to Know

Before enabling roaming, please note:

  • Roaming is disabled by default.

  • Roaming must be requested before travelling.

  • Roaming is only available in eligible destinations.

  • Daily roaming charges may apply once your phone connects to an overseas network.

  • Premium and satellite calls/texts are not included.

  • International calling and texting outside included roaming usage may incur additional charges.

  • By requesting roaming to be enabled, you accept responsibility for any roaming charges incurred.
